LITTLE DRAGON PLAYHOUSE: PK-4th Grade

Theatre Instructor - “Little Dragon Playhouse” Youth Arts Camp - Summer 2017

Applicants should have experience in both the performing and technical aspects of theatre arts, and must have experience working with young children (PK- 4th Grade).  This instructor will be responsible for teaching theatre basics to our younger division of performers, as well as compiling and directing a mini-showcase which will be performed for friends/family at the end of each camp session.  

Little Dragon Session timeframes are as follows:

  • Session 1:  July 11th- July 14th  (1  week)

  • Session 2:  July 17th- July 21st (1 week)

  • Session 3:  July 24th- July 28th (1 week)

  • Session 4: July 31st- August 4th ( 1 week)

  • Session 5:  August 7th- August 19th (2 weeks)

 


SUMMERSTAGE: 5th- 12th Grades

Music Director, Musical Theatre Intensive: July 10th- July 14th, 2017

Music director needed to work on week long Musical Theatre “Bootcamp” as a part of the SCC's summer camp program.  Required availability is July 10th- July 14th, M-F 8:30am-4:00pm.  Selected applicant will be expected to instruct campers on music theory and proper vocal technique as well as teaching all vocal parts and serving as accompanist for final performance.  Applicants must have experience working with Middle and High School- aged children.  

 

Music Director, Hairspray Jr: July 17th- August 5th, 2017

Music director needed to work on full-length musical production as a part of the SCC's summer camp program.  Required availability is July 17th- August 5th, M-F 8:30am-4:00pm.  Teaching at the SCC summer camp is a full time position and the selected instructor must be available to teach, rehearse and accompany all production rehearsals.  Applicants must have experience working with Middle and High School- aged children.  

Production Dates:  Friday, July 17th and Saturday, August 5th

 

Music Director, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: August 7th - August 19th, 2017

Music director needed to work on full-length musical production as a part of the SCC's summer camp program.  Required availability is August 7th- August 19th, M-F 8:30am-4:00pm.  Teaching at the SCC summer camp is a full time position and the selected instructor must be available to teach, rehearse and accompany all production rehearsals.   Applicants must have experience working with children of all ages.

Production Dates: Friday, August 18th and Saturday, August 19th
